Visitation

Visitation Schedule

The following is the visitation schedule for all visits (except "special visits.")

Wednesday 9:00a.m to 11:30a.m Security Block - 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month
Friday 9:00a.m to 11:30a.m General population inclusive of females
Saturday 9:00a.m to 11:30a.m General population inclusive of females

Dress Code

Men

  • No sleeveless shirts, vest or sports pants
  • No bare feet or bare backs permitted
  • Excessive jewelry will not be permitted
  • All locks (hair) plaits must be covered

Women

  • No tights or leggings or skimpy clothing
  • No see through clothing
  • No sleeveless, short tops or extra short pants
  • Excessive jewelry will not be permitted
  • No tubings/spaghetti tops
 

What is Needed to Visit?

  • A picture I.D.
    • Valid passport
    • Driver's license
    • Social security card
    • National ID card
  • The full name (first name and surname) of the person that you would like to visit. Aliases or nicknames will not be processed

NOTE: No weapons, ammunition, alcoholic beverages/containers are allowed. Introduction of contraband into a prison is prohibited. Visitors who introduce contraband into the prison shall be banned from the institution and will face possible arrest and criminal prosecution. Cell phones, camera, money, drugs of any kind, notes, and letters are considered contraband and will not be allowed into the prison compound. Visitors are required to place their purses, bags and other such items into lockers provided for safety purposes.

Appointments

Appointments must be made for children under the age of sixteen (16). This must be done by an adult (parent or guardian). Appointments can be made in person or via telephone number (767) 448 3329/2631.

NOTE: Persons must call to confirm their appointment(s) before visiting the Prison.

Special Visits

All visits outside the normal visitation schedule must be arranged through the office of the Superintendent of Prison.

Attorney at Law/Lawyers Visits

Attorneys/Lawyers should call in to schedule an appointment. The name(s) of the person(s) to be visited must be provided.

NOTE: There are no visits on public holidays.

NOTE: Inmates in general population and remand are allowed one visit weekly. The maximum number of persons per visit is five (5).
